A list of things to take into consideration before putting any money down.
1. Both the entrance and exit gates were open 90% of the time, which led to my roommates truck being stolen out of the complex. Management said it wasnât their fault because the owner has continuously refused to fix the gates. I find it interesting that they have enough money to get a new Nest Air Conditioning system and laundry room equipment, but they donât have enough to provide basic security
2. They allow you 3 days to pay rent (the 1st through the 3rd) and if one of those days happens to fall on a Sunday? Sorry. Youâre out of luck. The office was closed most sundays.
3. As nice as the managers are, it was very difficult to get ahold of them both before the move, and while we were living there. They almost never answered the phones, they donât have a consistent lunch schedule so it was nearly impossible for us to know when they would be out of the office, and even when their âwill return byâ sign was up, they would be out even longer than the time posted.
4. HIDDEN FEES. we knew they would be using our deposit to pay our final utilities bill - which is awesome - but they failed to tell us until our very last day that they would also charge a $145 cleaning fee and a $90 paint touch up fees
While the price of rent was reasonable, what we got in return was a very stressful experience.
